I received my first funding for the company today. It’s not much, but considering there was no company a week and a half ago, this is HUGE. I’m starting to line up some Angel funding, and this seed money will get the ball rolling.
Time to incorporate and move things along. This is really happening. Today was a good day!
The last week has been a whirlwind!
I now have a separation plan with my current employer. We “amicably” agreed to a 3.5 month transition plan. It’s both a relief and a stress point, but it’s the start of something great.
I’ve picked a company name, talked to potential angel investors, scheduled time with an intellectual property attorney, researched incorporation and trademarks, vetted the technical plan, and a bunch more.
Like I said, it’s been a good week! This thing is gonna happen…
